I have a completed a ten minute short about a teenager living with his struggling mum who makes a decision to try to help her financially that results in her being stabbed.
Authentic Voices and Female-Led
Many of my stories focus on historical female characters with a unique story that inspires strength, empathy and purpose. I search for narratives that are based on real stories which enables me to portray them with realism and depth.
Diverse Themes
A horse thief is sentenced to hang but she escapes prison to be with her lover. He is killed and she is recaptured and transported to Australia where her life is just as eventful and tragic.
Original Stories
For Better, For Worse – A middle aged woman’s mid-life panic of being single and her attempts at finding love, only for her to realise it’s not what she really wants. To celebrate her realisation, she marries herself.
A tormented shieldmaiden faces her fiercest battle when she must rescue her daughter after she is kidnapped by an old acquaintance.
